PackHire & LA Animal Services Partner in First Virtual Pet Adoption & Fundraising Brunch in Honor of National Mutt Day
July 27, 2021, Los Angeles, California PackHire, a new employment search engine and recruiting firm for the pet industry, announces first ever partnership with LA Animal Services for July’s Virtual Pet Adoption & Fundraising Brunch. The event will be featured on Instagram Live in honor of National Mutt Day this Saturday, July 31st at 11:30 AM PST. The virtual brunch aims to raise funds and find permanent homes for some fun, furry, and special animals.
In-kind gift donations (newspapers, unopened pet food, toys, blankets, litter, beds and treats) can be dropped off at the East Valley Animal Services Center, located at 14409 Vanowen St., Van Nuys, CA 91405 or any one of their LA Animal Services Center locations. “My dog, Meeko, is a shelter mutt. I think there is a special bond between shelter pets and their owners because the animals are so grateful for their new parents and new lives,” said PackHire Founder Seda Bolulu. “The dedicated and caring team at LA Animal Services provides these sweet souls a second chance. That is why we chose to team up with them in honor of National Mutt Day.”
PackHire & LA Animal Services hope to find homes for five pets and raise $1,000 in donations that will go toward animal medical expenses, behavioral training, vaccinations, spay and neutering, and purchasing much needed pet food and supplies.
