PackHire Announces Its Official Launch

PackHire, a new employment search engine and recruiting firm exclusive to the pet industry, announces its official launch. PackHire serves the pet-loving community through its platform, packhire.com, where job seekers can search jobs in a variety of industries such as veterinary care, grooming and boarding, dog training, rescues & non-profits, pet food, retail, pet insurance, as well as exciting new pet care start-ups — at no cost. Employers can post jobs, search the candidate resume database, and work with industry expert recruiters to find quality candidates with niche backgrounds for their pet business.

The spike in pet adoptions, coupled with investors pouring over $2 billion of venture funding into global pet-focused startups since 2017, sparked the growth of innovative pet products and services. “These businesses need talented, passionate staff to operate and continue to innovate,” said PackHire Founder Seda Bolulu. With nearly two million jobs available in the pet industry today, PackHire aims to help support this growing segment of the job market. (Source: Crunchbase)

“PackHire was created by pet people for pet people,” said Bolulu. “Through extensive market research we discovered that the name job boards created for the masses were not sufficiently catering to the rapidly growing $100B pet industry, and we wanted to build the platform where employers and candidates can easily and cost-efficiently find their pack!”

Since its soft launch in February 2021, PackHire has served two of the largest animal hospital and pet resort chains in North America as well as doggie day care, grooming, and boutique retail shops. With over 1,000 active users, PackHire is on a mission to get pet-loving Americans back to work in an industry that will leave our tails wagging.

Investors, brands, influencers, bloggers and rescues can meet PackHire at The Pet Summit October 23-24, 2021. PackHire founder, Bolulu, will be a panelist on Meet The Founders: The Ins and Outs of Business In The Pet Space, where she will discuss hiring trends, challenges, and the outlook for careers in the pet industry by segment. PackHire was also an exhibitor at SuperZoo, where it was a featured pet tech startup in the Innovation Incubator.
