Dog Trainer - PetU - Milwaukee, WI

We are seeking a part-time dog trainer to assist in our training program. It is preferred that candidates have some professional (paid work) experience working with dogs whether in dog handling (daycare, kennels, boarding) or in training dogs. We are balanced trainers and would expect that potential candidates shadow our trainer before taking on clients (time frame depends on current skillset).

Responsibilities:

Assisting in training sessions, consultations, and group classes

Note taking and assisting in scheduling clients

Developing rapport with clients and communicating with clients one-on-one

Traveling between locations to training appointments (we have three locations in the Milwaukee and Racine area)

**Must be comfortable talking to groups and to people.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
