Full Job Description
Looking for:
- 1 part-time afternoon position
- Starting wage is $11-$13/hour depending on experience.
- Monday- Friday (must be available all 5 days) temporarily closed mondays
- 1:30-6 pm
Job Duties:
Supervise dogs of all sizes, energy levels, ages, and breeds in a group setting
Maintain a safe and fun environment by observing dog body language and provide immediate redirections
Provide compassionate love and care to the dogs
Clean up after the dogs and sanitize the facility: play areas, kennels, equipment, outdoor area, bathrooms, lobby, etc.
Provide food, water and administer medication
Check in/out clients and process payments
Provide basic dog training activities
Provide exceptional customer service: answer phone calls and in-person interactions
End of day cleaning
Qualifications/Characteristics
Love caring for and working with dogs
Reliable, timely, and excellent attendance records and have reliable transportation
Respectful, work as a team, have a positive attitude and provide friendly customer service
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Must have previous dog daycare, foster, or other pet care JOB experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments.
Active, positive, friendly, motivated, learn quickly, team-player but can work independently, observant, detail oriented and responsive.
Physical demands: You must be able to:
Stand, walk and be extremely active for up to 6 hours/day on flat or uneven surfaces
Repetitively kneel, bend, rotate, lift and other physical movements
Lift at least 50 lbs
Adapt to outdoor environments (hot/cold temperatures, rain/snow/UV rays)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 – $13.00 per hour
