Veterinary Technician - Oconto Veterinary Center - Oconto, WI

Oconto Veterinary Center is searching for a veterinary technician or experienced assistant to join our team!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparation and assistance with procedures/surgery, animal restraint, administration of medication & vaccines, wound prep and care, dentistry, collection and sending of lab samples, cleaning, client communication/instruction, reception /phone, and various administrative duties.

Successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Prior experience in a veterinary clinic setting, Strong communication and organization skills are a must in order to work with clients in a caring and professional manner. Additionally, candidate must possess the ability and flexibility to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Oconto Veterinary Center is currently not allowing clients in the clinic. We greet the client outside, gather information, and bring their pet into the clinic for evaluation and treatment. Staff members must be prepared to be outside on a limited basis in various degrees of temperatures and weather situations.

Hourly rate of pay will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay: $12.00 – $22.00 per hour
