Are you a veterinarian looking for a position in a fun, collegial work environment in an up and coming segment of veterinary care? Apply now and join our team! Our specialized veterinary practice has over 20 years of experience focusing on professional, non-anesthetic dental prophylaxis for canines and felines. Non-anesthetic teeth cleaning offers a preventative method for controlling tartar and gingivitis, especially with pets with mild tartar and those with health issues that cannot tolerate anesthesia. Many of our patients are elderly, have health conditions, and/or are brachycephalic breeds which places them at a much higher risk under anesthesia. The Veterinary Medical Board, pet parents, and pets support our business and the growth of natural teeth cleaning.
Our veterinarians perform physical and oral exams to assess that the pet is a proper candidate for this procedure, and we refer back to full service veterinary clinics when necessary. Clinics are in various locations throughout Solano County, East Bay, and the greater Sacramento area. We have an experienced team of veterinarians on staff who are available to share their experience and train new staff. Currently, there are over 600 veterinary clinics who also offer non-anesthetic teeth cleaning throughout the US. The demand for this service has been growing extremely fast and you can be part of this exciting opportunity! We pride ourselves on quality, and we encourage you to read our hundreds of 5-star Yelp, Facebook, and Google reviews. This is a fun, low-stress position where candidates can provide great care, and build relationships with patients. Perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the dental field. Why Work With Us? Earn a generous, full-day wage working approximately 6.5 hours per day! Our low stress, friendly, team-building environment makes us stand out from other veterinary practices. Our service makes an impact; clients often praise the staff for their incredible results, and we are honored to do this work on a daily basis.
We are focused on maintaining a happy and healthy team. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. We financially support furthering education. Core Responsibilities: Examine, Monitor, Assist, and Communicate. It’s Easy! Examine – Ensure that exams are thorough, and completed in a timely manner. Notation should be concise, neat, and legible. Monitor – Although the veterinarian does not complete the dental prophylaxis procedure, they are responsible for the health and well-being of each patient in our care. Monitor technician-patient procedures and be ready to help when needed. Provide medical guidance and always be willing to answer questions. Assist – Always be ready to help handle animals, and create a safe work environment for our patients, our staff, and our clientele. Communicate – Guide clients through their pet’s dental record, and explain the current health of the mouth. Answer all questions politely, and in easy to understand terms where possible. Incorporate the importance of at-home dental care (e.g. brushing methodologies) to help prevent dental disease.
