Pet Care Specialist - Paws and Claws Total Dog - Eau Claire, WI

Paws and Claws is a family-owned grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare facility located on the south side of Eau Claire. We are looking to invest in committed employees, passionate about providing a safe, clean, and positive environment for our clients…there is nothing more rewarding than a dog who is happy come in the front door!

Responsibilities & Duties:

-Cleaning of indoor & outdoor kennels

-Feeding and medicating pets (mostly dogs and cats, occasionally small animals)

-Exercising the dogs (individual or group play or pool time)

-A variety of janitorial duties around the building

-Some customer service (checking in/out pets, answering calls, booking appointments/reservations)

Qualifications & Skills:

-Because we are a service based industry, we need staff 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so employees must expect to work 1-2 weekends per month and holidays!

-Attentive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

-Strong communication skills (both with staff & clients)

-Be prepared to get dirty (this job is about 80% cleaning!!)
