Full Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Client Care Representative who is passionate about pets and their people to join our Team!

We are seeking a part-time to full-time bilingual Client Care Representative to become a part of our team. Experience as a veterinary receptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. If you are dependable, love to delight clients, and work well in a fast-paced, team environment, this job may be for you! We are locally owned and committed to building relationships within our community and providing a low-stress veterinary experience for our patients. We are a Fear Free Certified Practice.

Veterinary clinic experience or working in a related field like doggie daycare is preferred; someone with wonderful customer service skills is also encouraged to apply. Being able to speak Spanish is a big plus. You’ll need to have strong organizational and multitasking skills, great communication skills, and a warm, friendly disposition. You’ll also need to have a good understanding of health maintenance care and basic veterinary triage or be able to quickly learn these concepts. Our clients and patients are like family. We like to make sure every client and patient receives the care they need in a thoughtful, cheerful manner. We love to teach, so be ready to learn something new every day. Experience with Cornerstone is a plus.

CCRs are responsible for making sure that our clients and patients have a great experience and understand when they are supposed to return for follow-up care. CCRs also play an important role in attracting new clients to our hospital and keeping our established clients happy & satisfied. They are the first person a client talks to and the last face a client sees before leaving. Our small, but growing staff must work together to perform all hospital duties including daily cleaning and kennel duties.

Must be available to work weekdays (8 am – 6 pm or 9 am – 7 pm) and Saturdays (1/2 day). We offer an excellent team environment and benefits including:

Benefits package includes paid CE, Fear Free Certification fees paid, employee discount, uniform scrubs provided, and paid time off. For full-time employees healthcare and other benefits are offered.

More About Joining the Milwaukee Vet Clinic Team

We opened in April 2019 just South of the Third Ward. At Milwaukee Vet Clinic, we take our commitment to offer excellent service to our team very seriously. For us, that means building a work environment and team culture that fosters fairness, open communication, and fun! That said, we have high expectations of our team, because we know that it takes an exceptional team to deliver on our mission: to provide quality, compassionate veterinary care to our patients and 5-star service to our clients and community.

Client Service

No pet has ever walked through our hospital doors without a human attached to them. So no matter how much you love animals, to be successful at our hospital you must love the people who love those animals. Client education is a BIG part of what we do, so you must be able to communicate effectively and in a friendly manner. We are here to serve our clients, so finding ways to exceed their expectations is a daily task at Milwaukee Vet Clinic

Teamwork

Do you make it a point to notice when those around you may need assistance and offer to help out instead of waiting to be asked for help? At Milwaukee Vet Clinic, teamwork is a very important part of our team culture. When an aggressive and painful patient is being restrained for a treatment, teamwork and trust are vital to the safety of the patient and team members.

Compassion

We are advocates for the pets that visit our hospital. They cannot speak for themselves, so we must speak for them when we suspect they are in pain or to educate owners about preventative measures to help ensure their good health in the future. This takes a great deal of compassion, coupled with the emotional intelligence to endure the parts of the job that are difficult for those who have a great deal of compassion for animals.

If you are a good team player with a history of delivering excellent client service and love animals and their people, you may be a good fit for Milwaukee Vet Clinic’s team!

Milwaukee Vet Clinic is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity.
